obsolete taxonomic schema[edit]

I have begun the work of updating the diprotodont entries in wikipedia to conform with the division of phalanderida into phalanderiformes and macropodiformes. I have modifies the possum, and phalangerida entires to concord as well however all other entries for animals that were in phalangerida must be checked and changed as needed. Expertise is not required to make these changes, simply read the section in this entry describing the change and ensure that other entries comply. 28 AUG 2005

I have completed this task. I've doubled checked things against MSW3, making changes as needed. - UtherSRG (talk) 20:19, 13 March 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Image request[edit]

The following image request was added to this page: {{req photo|date=March 2013|of=such as http://bird.net.au/bird/images/6/69/Western-Grey-Kangaroo-teeth.jpg or http://www.tree-kangaroo.net/images/diprotodontyLG.jpg}}

Those two images don't seem to have much in common, and I'm not sure how the first one would add to the article that isn't provided by the photo that's already there. I'm removing the image request, but if someone wants to put it back, please just add a clear explanation of what you'd like the article to illustrate, so photographers or librarians have some idea what to look for. Thanks. —Tim Pierce (talk) 15:43, 14 October 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
