DDC/CI[edit]

some monitors can have settings ajusted via ddc afaik, like brightness, or trigger a degausing —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.73.99.22 (talkcontribs)

You're right. I added a "DDC/CI" section. --Heron 09:24, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Disabling DDC/CI is not relevant[edit]

Is that section really needed in an article about displays standards? Instructions on how to fix problems with computers should not be part of an encyclopaedia. In my opinion, it should be either removed or rewritten to something like DDC/CI Operating System support, explaining problems that may appear if the standard is not supported by a monitor. DDC Address and octet read[edit]

how the first octet read is a1h if the slave address is always 0x50 is not intuitive. Either elaborate or remove it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.228.112.22 (talk) 00:14, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
