Not fun[edit]

not fun to learn about

I agree. This whole plate tectonics thing is kind of confusing. I'd rather learn something more useful.

I got to do a project for school. Thats the only reason I'm here --203.206.175.41 23:23, 12 March 2007 (UTC) They are really not that dangerouus because iive experienced it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.79.106.168 (talk) 17:22, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

New article for Rift volcano[edit]

Should there be a new article for rift volcanoes? I think it is notable enough to deserve its own article. --The High Fin Sperm Whale (Talk · Contribs) 20:04, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Change in lede[edit]

I changed this sentence in the lede: "In plate tectonics, a Divergent boundary or divergent plate boundary (also known as a constructive boundary or an extensional boundary) is a linear feature that exists between two tectonic plates that are moving away from each other." to read 'two' instead of 'five' -- any particular, individual divergent boundary will involve two (possibly three) plates, but in general only two. If this sentence was meant to convey that there are, at the moment on Earth only five plate boundaries that are divergent, than it needs a separate sentence to say so (with citation of course). 71.139.1.243 (talk) 15:51, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Bore[edit]

This stuff is boring, but might come in handy...--Itayb1 (talk) 04:42, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

this affect of tectonic activity is highly dangerous and will kill us all — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.10.47.101 (talk) 20:16, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
