Biased Page[edit]

This page seems overwhelmingly engineered by the creators of drank. Very biased. I mean look at that "Cultural Significance." Needs more citations. Gotterdammerung (talk) 03:21, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

made some slight changes, but more are needed, preferably by someone who can figure out whether the 1mg of melatonin is enough to actually have any effect, or present evidence/studies towards/against that possibilty. -68.32.26.209 (talk) 18:55, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The second paragraph of Cultural Significance is a criticism of Drank. Overall, the article doesn't seem like an advertisement to me. Ian01 (talk) 05:35, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Flavour[edit]

The Drank I drank (ha) was raspberry lemonade flavoured. They didn't sell one that was grape flavoured here in my town (in Ontario). Can't find it here at all in my town anymore though. 99.227.58.169 (talk) 17:15, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Drank (soda)Drank (soft drink) – Swap the redirect. A recent discussion resulted in the renaming of three articles from using "(soda)" as the disambiguating phrase to using "(drink)". Consensus was that "(soda)" is a regionalism and per WP:COMMONALITY and WP:NCDAB we should prefer the common phrase "(drink)". This is now the only article title that uses "(soda)": intitle search. Opposition was raised for moving this to "Drank (drink)", because of ambiguity with purple drank. So I suggest we use "(soft drink)", being another commonly used phrase: intitle search. I don't think purple drank could be considered a soft drink. 178.164.162.144 (talk) 08:49, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support - "soft drink" has the added bonus of emphasizing the lack of anything hard in "drank", reducing ambiguity. Red Slash 18:22, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. This is the best possible DAB. I agree "soda" is a regionalism (one that I use, but entire articles in have been written about all the different terms for 'soft drink' and where they are used, and everyone knows by know that some people call them "pop", etc. I also agree that just "Drank (drink)" will fail as disambiguation, since purple drank can be shortened to simply "drank" in the very slang from which the term originated (notwithstanding a very recent trademark for a product that may not last long. I actually wonder if this has been put through the WP:N paces ...).  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  00:27, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
