This is yet another renaming in waiting. It was the East Pomeranian Strategic Offensive Operation since the Wehrmacht didn't have one. Again, the word Strategic is there for a reason.--mrg3105 (comms) ♠♣ 23:02, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

As with all the others Mrg, there is no need to inflict that ponderous Soviet official name in full in English title of the article, which has a snappier general-use title for it. I've just added the Sov full title in the infobox and in the heading, along with the subordinate operations. Buckshot06 (talk) 23:22, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
As with all the other Buckshot06, our opinions diverge as I believe the name of the historical event should be as accurate as the name given to it by its participants, and not in the "journalistic" fashion--mrg3105 (comms) ♠♣ 00:14, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
