Land speed record for rails?[edit]

According to wikipedia the land speed record for railed vehicles is 515.3 km/hr! Considering that gaff I'm tempted to put {completely untrustworthy} on the rest of the article... njh 09:35, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When I originally expanded this article, that little "fact" was not there. Reviewing the Discovery Channel video shows mention of the Eliica being "faster than a bullet train", but not necessarily faster than the land speed record for railed vehicles. Perhaps this would best be removed. WingZero 09:17, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I think it is a mis-interpretation. It does go fast, but not that fast :) I'll leave rewriting to you. njh 09:27, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

911 Comparison[edit]

Removed the text "(faster than the Porsche 911 Turbo)" since it is probably no longer accurate with the launch of the 2006 911 Turbo (see Porsche 997#Turbo) --Jondreads 22:09, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
