Blanked for lacking references[edit]

As per WP:V I've removed the unreferenced information - everything except for his name. Please WP:CITE reliable sources for any information put here. VRTS ticket # 2007051510013918 -- Jeandré, 2007-05-16t11:05z

Restored and modified[edit]

I have restored the article essentially as originally written and cited the references which were used at that time and should ahve been included under sources as per WP procedures at that time. I have reviewed the information and have modified some of the content to be more NPOV.

As noted by Jeandré, the article could be further improved by in-line refereneces, and I will deploy same for future edits, although I am not going to redo it or hundreds of other WP articles at this time without the newer feature of inline references WP added after article like this were written. The information in this article as currently presented is meaningful in the context of rail transport history. Vaoverland 19:16, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
