Isn't having an entry for a particular class in a particular version of a particular game just a bit of overkill? Can't this be handled under a broader D&D entry?

Also, it doesn't say which version of the game this is true of. I assume AD&D 3rd edition?

Well... 1: NPC classes were introduced in the 3.0 version, yes, but the current version of D&D is 3.5. 2: All information concerning D&D should be of the current version, not counting historical recitings of previous incarnations. Baring those, anything should be considered up to date and true. 3: There is a seperate page for every single D&D class. Why? Because they are all seperate and unique, and grouping them on one page would either make a giant article, or would leave out a large amount of information (which would defeat the purpose of an encyclopedia).
