Is this just an advertisement? Perhaps this should be removed. --Gtcaz 07:40, 21 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you think this is an advertisement? I think the article is very true and FAR is the best manager for me (I did not write the original article). I am actually using it for coding PHP up to this moment. With plugins FAR has support for text coloring, complex search and replace (including perl regexps, batch search and replace, etc.). I don't know a better manager, it is also free. Sorry, this also might sound like an ad to you, but what can anybody gain from an ad like that??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.85.48.242 (talkcontribs) 22:23, 21 November 2005
FAR for Windows is as important as Volkov Commander for DOS or Midnight Commander for GNU/Linux and Unixen. Thanks to its license in Russia it is the second thing you reach for after installing the system.–Gnomz007(?) 22:56, 21 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WinSCP plugin[edit]

What have WinSCP to do with FAR, or FAR with WinSCP?

If we are talking about "advertisements", the only thing that looks lite it is the link to WinSCP plugin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.172.21.161 (talk) 08:46, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FAR Manager is now open source. Have a look at their website. --83.171.144.35 (talk) 21:45, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
