Does this really need to be separate from Defenders (comics)? We happily have teams such as The_Last_Defenders and the New Defenders covered there. Morwen (Talk) 18:31, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Despite the the name, these aren't Defenders but Valkyrior as explained by Cullen Bunn. Also The Last Defenders was a mini-series while this is ongoing.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 18:40, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Whether or not they are successors to the Defenders in-universe doesn't seem to be of consequence. Val is of course a long-time Defender, so they're trading off that name in choosing this name for the title of the book. Mind, I'm not particularly aggrieved at this existing, so I'll let the issue rest there. Morwen (Talk)
