On 17 July 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved from Federal Correctional Institution, Yazoo City to Federal Correctional Complex, Yazoo City. The result of the discussion was moved.

Merger Proposal[edit]

This article is about three federal prisons and Yazoo City, Mississippi while the Federal Correctional Complex, Yazoo City article is also about three federal prisons in Yazoo City, Mississippi. I'll be honest, when I drove through Yazoo City, I only noticed two prisons so the town is big enough to hide one prison on ya. I don't think Yazoo has four extra prisons up their sleeves though.

I went with the proposal as initially stated, recognising that this is slight odd as the complex is arguably the broader topic. Neverless, Correctional institution seems to be the name best-known-by.

Could I get a phone number please to talk to a supervisor or warden about inmate. I have written five letters and they keep getting returned and I wondering why? Federal Correctional Institution, Yazoo City → Federal Correctional Complex, Yazoo City – Federal Correctional Institution, Yazoo City only refers to the low and medium security facilities in the complex.
