The article says There is a monument in Wentworth on the junction of the Darling and Murray Rivers in Australia commemorating the time in 1956 when both rivers flooded and a fleet of little grey Fergies was used to build levee banks to save the town does anyone have a phot of that monument? I added an image of what I assume is the grey fergie, it is grey at least. It appears simmilar to the image in the Ferguson TE20 article, might be an earlier model as it lacks the yellow lights though. --AndersL 14:16, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not only was Wentworth saved, but many other towns and farms along the Murray river in the Sunraysia district, especially in the Redcliffs, Nangiloc and Colignan area.

hitch[edit]

The three-point linkage hitch was key to the development of this tractor, and quickly became, and is now, the industry standard. Yet it was not mentioned in the introduction to this article. In addition it was spoken of in the article several times before the subsection, "three point hitch", and only, at last, first wikilinked in that subsection. Since the only reason for this tractor was the three point hitch, I put a wikilink to that article in the introduction. Nick Beeson (talk) 13:14, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not much about the actual company[edit]

This is supposed to be an article about the Ferguson-Brown Company, but it says precious little about it - instead talking mostly about the Ferguson TE20 tractor.81.191.184.223 (talk) 17:45, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You must be seeing something different to what I see on the article, as the TE 20 Section is just a small part of the article. If you know about the company then set to and write something on the article. All the editors are volunteers, they can only write what they know about and have references to support what they have written is correct. Richard Harvey (talk) 20:02, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Not just the TE20, but my main point is that the article heading is Ferguson-Brown Company. As I understand it, Ferguson-Brown was a joint venture between Harry Ferguson and David Brown, but according to ^[1], Harry Ferguson split away from David Brown in 1938, i.e. before the above mentioned model was developed, and also Ferguson's cooperation with Ford (which is mentioned, too.) So, while there is to my knowledge nothing wrong with the text itself, I suspect that most of it belongs in a different article. 81.191.184.223 (talk) 17:17, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
