this needs pictures![edit]

Fitness and figure being visual sports, it is pretty hard for the reader to figure out what physical appearance is desired in fitness/figure competitions without pictures. Muscle "tone" is not strictly correct; it is muscle mass and very low bodyfat, but less muscle mass than in bodybuilding competitions (although a few women compete in both fitness/figure and bodybuilding). Since I don't own the copyright to any pictures that would be suitable here, I'll leave it to others to add them. 69.243.144.144 (talk) 07:59, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Larry Siegel[reply]

modelsobserver.com links[edit]

This and other Wikipedias in other languages have been relentlessly spammed by anonymous IPs based in Israel (where the domain is registered) for many months. It's gotten sufficiently bad as to warrant addition to the spam blacklist and I have removed a number of these links in anticipation of blacklisting:

Most, but not all, had been added by the site-owner.

If an established, high-volume editor sees value to the specific link I deleted from this article, please let me know and it can be evaluated for addition to the spam "whitelist"

There's a lot of spam links[edit]

There's a lot of spam links on the "external sites" section of "Fitness and figure competition" page. The links are to those one page ebook sales websites.

Training[edit]

A description in the difference of training should be added to this page. Figure competition vs. female bodybuilding.

Also, a section on competition preparation should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evangruiz (talkcontribs) 17:48, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
