Kleshas[edit]
These articles and their redirects need to be untangled: Kleshas (Hinduism), Kleshas, and Kleshas (Buddhism). Particular attention needs to be paid to Kleshas, which used to be a disambiguation page. Right now it says The Five Poisons are five perceived threats to the stability of the rule of the Communist Party of China.
, with nothing about the etymology and no mention of the other articles. It seems fine to me if it's an overview or summary article instead of a dab page, but it's incomplete as it is.

Xie jiao[edit]
Couldn't the Chinese Communist Party mention the xie jiao has one of the Five Poisons along with Falun Dafa? (It was recommended by a Chinese professor, that the term "xie jiao" shouldn't be translated like qigong or kung fu.) --Apisite (talk) 02:45, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
No references to actual usage of the term by the PRC government itself?[edit]
It would be helpful to reference actual usage of the term by the government. There are references to sources critical of the government, which say that it uses the term with a certain meaning. - In fact there several usages of "Five Poisons" (Chinese: 五毒) by the Chinese Communist Party(CCP). In this official news of CCP, Five Poisons refer to exaggeration, selling officials, whoring, gambling and corruption (Chinese: 吹賣嫖賭貪). This official news of CCP shows another meaning: cigarettes, wine, whoring, gambling and drugs (Chinese: 煙、酒、嫖、賭、毒). However during the Five-anti Campaigns, Five Poisons refer to bribery, theft of state property, tax evasion, cheating on government contracts and stealing state economic intelligence according to this news. CCP usages of Five Poisons seems to be complex. Moreover, if anyone could fix it, it's better to split CCP usages of Five poisons into a new article. - 迴廊彼端, a couple of years ago this article was only about the CCP, but as the title was ambiguous about the concept I added the historical Chinese and Vietnamese use of the term. I think that a separate article entitled "Five Poisons (Communist Party of China)" should probably be made, this page can probably be moved to something like "Five Poisons (ancient China)" and then make the redirect into a disambiguation page. -- — Donald Trung (talk) 14:43, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
