Flexible carpooling is a generic term that is gaining in acceptence to refer to a class of carpooling that has not previously been classified. As the person who coined the term I have an interest in maintaining it as a descriptor of a type of carpooling formation methodology. But the expanding range of transportation professionals who are using the term to refer to this approach would agree with having a page for the topic. I am going to provide some links.
