There is some discussion on the x-wrt freenode chat that freewrt is designed for the professional market whereas openwrt is targeting soho market. Browsing the project websites, it appears that this may be backwards, where openwrt is the more enterprise-ready.

Dead?[edit]

The project appears dead to me now. The don't even have any news since late 2008. Pcap ping 02:43, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
