This person probably died some years ago, but we cannot be sure. The "oldest living Britons" site is not conclusive as he may have moved to another country. Remember that the last British survivor of WW1 is alive in Australia. PatGallacher (talk) 20:35, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • "September 1901 - 1964" en-dash.
  • "fee of £2,000" etc, inflate fees.
  • "McLachlan joined Clyde and" overlinked and you already mentioned he joined Clyde.
  • "Football League" do you mean English here? Be specific and link.
  • "added a brace" link.
  • "enjoyed a prominent season" in what sense was it "prominent"?
  • Could link 1926–27 FA Cup#Fourth round proper.
  • "goal from Hughie Ferguson to " overlinked and no need to repeat first name unless it's ambiguous.
  • Link "relegated".
  • "after manager Peter Hodge had" link manager.
  • "Independent's" the s shouldn't be in italics and use the {{'}} template instead of a regular apostrophe.
  • "player-coach" link.
  • "French side Le Havre in 1934–35" which league? Is there a season link for it? Was it top tier?
  • Link centre-half.
  • "out Queen's Park trainer" overlinked.
  • "beating Racing Santander in " from?
  • "moved to Glasgow following" overlinked,
  • "employment as a draughtsman for" overlinked.
  • "died in September" why not have September 1964 instead of just 1964 in his death "date" in the lead and infobox?

That's all I have. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 15:49, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
