Movie addition[edit]

A movie needs to be added. George played the character Harold in the movie "The Strawberry Blonde" from 1941. 2603:9009:B0C:AA00:C4E2:F3A0:FDD8:2606 (talk) 03:48, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 20:01, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Not sure why this request was posted. The film in question has been in the body of the article text and in the film table at least back to 2019. I didn't check back any further, but suspect it may have been present from article creation date (or near). GrandpaDave (talk) 00:06, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Flash cameo.[edit]

I can’t edit this page, but I did see that he was posthumously credited for the Flash cameo, and then that edit was reverted. This is inconsistent. Other actors have been posthumously awarded credit on Wikipedia, such as on Peter Cushing’s page. Even if you decide to keep it reverted, I feel this should be mentioned somewhere. It's not a cameo and shouldn't be credited as such since he's been dead for 60+ years. However, it can probably be mentioned in In popular culture. DonQuixote (talk) 23:42, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Suicide Wording[edit]

"Died by suicide" is not a euphemism. It is a neutral point of view way to describe the event. "Committed suicide" is judgemental and so does not adhere to WP:NPOV. I propose changing the wording back to "died by suicide". RJ4 (talk) 01:43, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it has been a week since I raised this issue, and no-one has objected to the change,

so I shall go ahead and execute the change. RJ4 (talk) 01:57, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
