The content of this page has been substantially changed under the edit summary
“changed type from Mittle which was actually covering 3 types of uboats to type 81 and corrected data to create a type 81 page before I creat a type 87 and type 93 to cover the other two distinct types”.
There is no source given for this assertion, and there has been no discussion of the change.
In any case this is a radical change, such that the content no longer matches the title, so even if the claim is correct, this is not the way to proceed. Please explain these changes and provide a justification for them. Thanks Xyl 54 (talk) 01:23, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Propulsion.[edit]

"Propulsion: 2400 hp (surfaced) 1200 hp (submerged)" This is the best we can do to cover the propulsion of an entire class of submarines? Not even a mention of the fact that it is (presumably) diesel on the surface and electric underwater? What kind of diesel, made by who? How many cylinders? I wouldn't be surprised if some of the individual pages on the boats themselves contained a lot more info than this one does..45Colt 14:51, 6 February 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by .45Colt (talkcontribs)
