An editor created an article under Gershchenkron effect that may have some information useful to this topic in Wikipedia. The editor inadvertantly misspelled the name. Please consider merging any useful information into this article before the misspelled article is proposed for deletion. --SueHay 03:23, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not mass-import that misspelled article into this one. Much of it violates WP:NPOV, the tone is not appropriate for an encyclopedia article, Gerschenkron is misspelled throughout the text, the example and illustration are of poor quality, and the third reference is almost certainly nonsense. Please selectively import cleaned-up text that improves this article, if there is any. --SueHay 03:13, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are you saying the imported text is so poor that it is better not to have it at all? That I am not sure, it certainly has lots of problems but still helps the article if we keep the tags on it.
Maybe you can clarify more why its so bad that it should be entirly deleted? Misspelled words can not be the reason, I guess NPOV is your main concern, please clarify which parts are NPOV in your mind so that part can be dealt with and the remaining be kept in the article.Farmanesh 04:55, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For your information, my deleted contribution on this subject was not (NOT) previously misspelled. I'd submitted several authoritative sources which attested to this. Of course, to no avail - A.S.
