Poorly written?
[edit]The entire article does not read well, it needs to be separated into sections and made more readable. Also from my research for a university mathematics history assignment it was Bonaventura Cavalieri not Roberval who created the method of the indivisibles. Can someone confirm this, or make the page clearer, thanks nzv8fan (I don't think i am logged in) 60.234.134.125 02:12, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Well fix it then Victuallers (talk) 10:16, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Copyright copypasta
[edit]The text of this article was admittedly copied from a source whose copyright had expired ("the 1911 encyclopedia article"). Since this text appears almost verbatim at this NNDB site here, with a 2008 copyright date (Soylent Communications), I wonder whether this text is indeed public domain. Probably just knowing which encyclopedia contains this information would help prove that.
More importantly, that encylcopedia must be cited as a source! I generally really don't care about this kind of thing, but since the entire article was taken from one source it ought to be cited. Eebster the Great (talk) 02:31, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
