Tiepolo has a vast bibliography, and any good art library will help you to find titles - George Knox

  • Giambattista or Giovanni Battista? Having just come back from Venice I noticed that in the Accademia the name Giambattista Tiepolo is used. Which is correct? rturus 15:25, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)

"Critical" section[edit]

This section is not encyclopaedic and is considered WP:OR. References and sources for these statements should be added.(olive (talk) 04:04, 29 May 2009 (UTC))

It is certainly encyclopedic to have such a section, and the views expressed seem very conventional, although waffly in the Italian manner. Johnbod (talk) 13:58, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Yes, the section itself and its subject matter are fine. It wasn't sourced though, and the wording is weasel wording which is not encyclopedic. I have just located one source and find the section is heavily plagiarized, so that means some serious rewriting. Thanks for your comment. Nice to know I'm not the only one looking at this article.(olive (talk) 16:51, 1 June 2009 (UTC))

Parts of this article appear to have been plagiarized. I will begin to repair the plagiarized sections and welcome assistance from other editors.(olive (talk) 03:43, 1 June 2009 (UTC))

Works from 1740–1750[edit]

Tiepolo's work 'The Crucifixion' is missing from this list. See for details about the work. Pwrgreg007 (talk) 16:18, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
