Spacing[edit]

The current revert war about the citation's spacing is getting us nowhere. While I can see the reason for using APA spacing, Wikipedia is not an APA publication, and it should keep a common style for all articles independent of the topic. Thus, the Wikipedia Manual of Style should be our guide. The example for bibliographies given at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (lists of works) does not use APA spacing, so neither should we. --Huon 08:27, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have protected the page. -- RHaworth 20:54, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Seems I did not actually protect it! This time I have. -- RHaworth 05:43, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

God that spacing was ugly. Someone kill it with fire. Mackensen (talk) 01:49, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Philosopher?[edit]

Ladson-Billings earned a PhD in Curriculum and Teacher Education, not in Philosophy "proper" nor in Philosophy of Education. There does not seem to be evidence of her publishing in journals of philosophy or philosophy of education. Her academic areas of interests that she lists on her faculty page do not include philosophy in any way. Moreover, she earned her PhD from Stanford, which has a Philosophy of Education program. Yet she did not graduate from it..--Lhakthong (talk) 01:37, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
