This page should not be speedily deleted because earlier deletion process was in April 2010. But after that discussion date, new events occurred dating 2012 and 2013 with proof of later notability of the band (after our initial deletion in 2010). In fact there is an entirely newly written section for period 2012 and onwards! The earlier sections are also improved. The new materials in the article also indicate that the Goat album World Music (Goat album) charted as high as #8 in Sverigetopplistan, the official Swedish Singles Chart in August 2012 (long after our deletion process on Goat changing its relevant status, and making it a notable band to be reflected in Wikipedia. Frankly it doesn't even merit an AfD, let alone speedy deletion. See http://swedishcharts.com/showinterpret.asp?interpret=Goat ) --werldwayd (talk) 15:01, 23 March 2013 (UTC) werldwayd (talk) 15:27, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This is quite a new band, so it is not surprising that there are as yet relatively few mentions in the conventional reliable sources - and the band are deliberately (and, to us, unhelpfully) being obscure in their pronouncements (such as not naming most of the band members). But, they have won international attention and acclaim, they are touring internationally, and sources are emerging. There is no justification for deletion. An editor - 83.248.82.199 - is attempting to remove referenced information from the article. Now, also, a newly-registered editor, User:Carlekesioo. Whether this is in an effort to preserve some of the band's supposed mystique or not, I can't say. The fact is that the references to someone (claimed to be) named Christian Johansson, who is (or claims to be) a member of the band and has been interviewed about the band, are supported by this, this, this, and this. They should be retained in the article. It's not Wikipedia's role to go along with a band's marketing ploys - it's to present factual information. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:07, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
