This article was moved from The Golden Goose (clearly a title) to Golden Goose apparently a species. This was an error. In general, it is wise to think before you interfere. Or at least pause blankly...--Wetman 22:34, 30 August 2005 (UTC)

golden eggs?[edit]

this story reminds me of the chicken that lays golden eggs and is finally killed to find out how it works. I wonder if this is related in any way. --MarSch 16:12, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

You mean "Die Gans, die goldene Eier legte" (The goose who lay golden eggs). This fairy tale is not from the Brothers Grimm, but from Ludwig Bechstein, another german Fairy tale collector. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 20:19, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
