Orphaned references in Great White Pelican

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Great White Pelican's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Handbook":

  • From List of birds of Palestine: "The Handbook of Palestine". MacMillan and Co., Limited. 1922. Retrieved 2009-07-28. {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |editors= ignored (|editor= suggested) (help)
  • From Dalmatian Pelican: del Hoyo, et al., Handbook of the Birds of the World. Volume 1: Ostrich to Ducks. Lynx Edicons (1992), ISBN 978-84-87334-10-8
  • From Kleptoparasitism: Ehrlich, Paul R.; Dobkin, David S.; Wheye, Darryl; Pimm, Stuart L. (1994). The Birdwatcher's Handbook. Oxford: Oxford University Press. ISBN 0-19-858407-5.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 16:59, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bull sharks, for example, readily take white pelicans if they can catch them. There are probably other species that have been found with pelican carcasses in their stomachs - an RS should be easily found? 104.169.39.45 (talk) 06:43, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What's an RS? BroVic (talk) 10:30, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Just added a link to educational article with a video about great white pelicans. I think would be very interesting for kids (video)Mark.barkan (talk) 07:32, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
