List of works by Gugudan

[edit]

Support split - The discography and related sections of the article take up more than one quarter of the page, and should be split to a new article entitled List of works by Gugudan. --Jax 0677 (talk) 23:12, 7 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps the discography and videography should be moved to Gugudan discography, inline with music other South Korean artists. The filmography section is mostly variety shows which are not considered notable enough to have their own article and are currently in the process of being eradicated entirely because of lacking notability. I support that the discography and videography be moved to Gugudan discography, it's going to happen eventually anyway once their discography grows. I was going to do it myself but put it off until they have another album release. As for Filmography, the only thing that I think should be there is maybe Gugudan Project - Extreme School Trip. One time guest listings are pretty much non-notable. Alicia leo86 (talk) 05:52, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The filmography section helps international fans to see where the group guested. They can be informed through this site and watch shows that they haven't watched. Wikipedia serves a central hub for fans who are having a hard time looking for their appearances in variety shows. My question is why are the filmography sections of the different sites of the KPOP group removed? Thank you. Artofficiale (talk) 04:28, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No, Wikipedia is not meant for fans and will never be, its an encyclopedia and not a fansite, there was a lengthy discussion about that at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Korea/Popular culture Snowflake91 (talk) 07:31, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for that information. I have read that discussion and understood what you were saying. Artofficiale (talk) 13:19, 15 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
