KTV?[edit]

"On the other hand, it does have many KTVs..." I had to go Googling for the definition of "KTV" and finally found it in a blog. It would seem it's more or less a "karaoke party" with drinks, food and women who you pay for to pour your drinks and then spend the night with you. Interesting. In reality, KTV is merely the normal Chinese word for ordinary karaoke.--71.111.194.50 (talk) 23:58, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Climate[edit]

Looking at the climate table - the source of which with my difficulty in reading Chinese characters I could not check - it appears as though the climate table given for Hailar would qualify as a humid continental climate even though the mean annual temperature is cold enough for sporadic permafrost, since the daily averages for May and September appear to be over 10 °C (50 °F). Has anybody found data to show that the May and September temperatures really do average at under 10 °C (50 °F) for the whole day - to qualify as a subarctic climate both months would have to be less than that. luokehao, 00:44,24 October 2011 (UTC)
