Content removal[edit]

There are unusual removal of data in this page by user @Brihaspati:, instead adding cn tags.--Irshadpp (talk) 07:38, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

They can challenge and/or remove uncited material. They should always explain themselves in edit summaries and by responding to talk page objections such as this section though. In case of BLPs, its usually COI/PAID when there's a ton of unverified claims, there's that too. In general, any editor who wants to remove content should first search for sources themselves. Of course, any editor who objects to removal could simply reinstate content properly cited if the info is verifiable. Usedtobecool ☎️ 07:58, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia has clear cut WP:PROVEIT policy. If you add content then prove it, otherwise, be ready that this will be removed. I’m again removing content. Don’t add without sources. This is BLP.— Brihaspati (talk) 08:04, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted with source--Irshadpp (talk) 12:45, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 11 June 2020[edit]

He left his IAS job after 2002. It had no relation with Gujarat Riot. Edit Gujarat Riot (2002) to 2002. Hdsukhadwala (talk) 21:22, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I can't see the cited source. Irshadpp can you respond to this, it looks like you added this information and the corresponding source. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 21:23, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Citation says and Harsh Mander, who left the IAS in protest against state sponsored communal violence in Gujarat in 2002. What else we need reference. If anyone have a better source, we may rethink.--Irshadpp (talk) 06:43, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: pro forma; this is already answered RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 15:44, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated out-of-context addition to lead[edit]

@Kailash K Singh: There really is no need to take one specific death penalty case where Mander is one of numerous signatories. Most human rights activists will tend to be anti-death penalty, not a surprise at all and not needed for the lead. Shyamal (talk) 16:25, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
