First fatal crash?[edit]

Is this the first fatal crash of the E-jet?--DAI (Δ) 18:49, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It seems you're right. Kubek15 write/sign 19:23, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The plane[edit]

Tail number B-3130 was this [1]. - Eugen Simion 14 (talk) 20:45, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A google search finds a whole bunch of photos. Unfortunately, most, if not all, of them are not usable on Wikipedia. Kxx (talk | contribs) 20:58, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
why Jetblue photo for aircraft type?116.71.15.16 (talk) 14:50, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicting reports on details of crash[edit]

Early reports on details of the crash are conflicting. Some say that the aircraft overshot the runway, while some others say that the aircraft crashed 1.5 km from the runway. Perhaps because it is still now nighttime in China, reports cannot be too accurate. Things may clear up when dawn breaks. Aircraft[edit]

The aircraft was an Embraer ERJ-190LR/ERJ-190-100 LR delivered in August 2008 to Kunpeng Airlines and then transferred to Henan Airlines in February 2010. [1]

doesn't seem enough information to be put on the page but if you think otherwise feel free to edit & put on. Guyag (talk) 07:28, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Embraer mother page[edit]

For archiving purposes http://www.embraer.com/english/content/imprensa/press_releases_detalhe.asp?id=3027 is the mother page to the Embraer press release. I won't post this in the Wikipedia article itself, but I will leave it up so web.archive.org can archive it. http://www.embraer.com/portugues/content/imprensa/press_releases_detalhe.asp?id=3026 is the Portuguese mother page. Also Embraer left a Spanish press release.

WhisperToMe (talk) 19:57, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I should have used web.archive.org. Now the Spanish press release is down and not available. I'm hoping it shows up at http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.embraer.com.br/espanol/content/imprensa/ - The archive of the Spanish press release at http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://www.embraer.com/espanol/content/imprensa/press_releases_detalhe.asp?id=3028 is blank WhisperToMe (talk) 18:17, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Good news! I found an alternate URL for the Embraer Spanish press release. It just got linked on ES. WhisperToMe (talk) 19:16, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fatalities as per final report[edit]

I put the template [inconsistent] on section "Casualities", since numbers are not consistent with the final report, due the sources are earlier. I dont know how to fix. Does anyone could do?PauloMSimoes (talk) 03:00, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Should be better, it looks like the confusion caused by two that died in Hospital hence the 42/44 figures. MilborneOne (talk) 16:32, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
