A Firebrace pedigree is printed in John Nichols, History and Antiquities of the County of Leicester, vol. iv (London, 1815) p. 726.--Wetman (talk) 23:36, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

I only have access to Rayment, and my local library is piss-poor, and not in Leicestershire. Is it online? Rodhullandemu 23:38, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

I have a problem with Firebrace being associated as being one of the attendants at Charles 1's execution. Part of the story is that he was given a ring by Charles 1 on that occasion. However there is no record of him being at the execution, except for mentions that simply assert it without proof, such as the current article. Philgryce (talk) 12:21, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
