Software implementations[edit]

I think it useful to add links to open source software that implements the algorithms developed by Herbert Scarf and described in the article. To this end I suggest to add the following link on the housing market in the External links section:

Copy Paste[edit]

This article is substantially similar to this discussion paper:

Yang, Zaifu (2012). Herbert Scarf: A Distinguished American Economist (PDF). York, UK: University of York.

It appears most of the article may have been contributed by the author of the discussion paper (Zyang666). At very least, it seems like the paper would need to include license indicating permission for use in this manner, and the article should include citations. Comment from the author would be appreciated! Nickknack00 (talk) 02:41, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

On the assumption that (Zyang666) was indeed Zaifu Yang, then there was a statement when restoring the article after copyvio deletion in 2012 "With permission of the author, this version is based on a discussion paper No 21/06 (Dept of Economics, University of York) on Scarf. The contents are quite comprehensive and accurate. But you are welcome to make any further improvement."

Numbering of references[edit]

It is unfortunate that the references got numbered by hand rather than by using the software that does that. This means that if someone inserts a new reference after number 2 or so, they will have to re-number all of the later references. 2601:445:437F:FE66:4C7F:A6C6:FE1A:E5B2 (talk) 22:29, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
