De Morgan and company[edit]

The section on De Morgan quotes from "Hardy p.20":

The whole fabric of periodic series and integrals … would fall instantly if it were shown to be possible that 1 − 1 + 1 − 1 + · · · might be one quantity as a limiting form of A0A1 + A2 − · · ·and another as a limiting form of A0A1 + A2 − · · ·.

The fact that the two instances of generic series are actually identical seems to be a mistake. Should be checked and corrected. -- Jokes Free4Me (talk) 05:55, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
