Honeypot Technologies / Honeytech has played an important role in the research and development of honeypots/honeynets and the information security community in general. Its founder was the creator of a variety of new concepts in information security, to include honeynets. In addition, the organization is now helping research in security awareness, to include free materials, blogging and other resources.

Claritas, remember not to confuse importance with notability. A7 speedy deletion deals with claims of importance, and being a multi-national company is usually held to be a claim of importance. However, notability isn't established through independent sources, and the article can still be deleted through WP:PROD or WP:AFD. --Fabrictramp | talk to me 22:20, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
