2000 Year old agave[edit]

"It contains more than six thousand tropical and indigenous trees and plants, including a 2000-year-old agave cactus." 

I removed this claim which is a mistake. I think a confusion with a two leaf cactus they have which is believed to live up to 2000 years. However the one in hortus is not that age. It is called Welwitschia or Tweeblaarkanniedood meaning 2 leaves cannot die in South African. The oldest plant at hortus is a palm of about 300 years old. Spoonman 01:25, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
