First soccer-specific stadium in MLS? Not true, and not relevant...

BBVA Compass Stadium was *NOT* the first "soccer-specific stadium in a downtown core" in MLS. It may have been the first "new-construction", but Portland's JELD-WEN Field (opened as an MLS soccer-specific stadium in 2011, now called "Providence Park") predates it, also in the core of a downtown. Plus, BBVA's status to MLS doesn't matter to NWSL. Deleting the phrase. 208.67.132.5 (talk) 21:00, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
