## Abuse of notation?

Is this an abuse of notation?

${\displaystyle a,b,c,d\in \mathbb {Z} +{\tfrac {1}{2}}}$

Or is this a proper expression of adding a number to every member of a set? ᛭ LokiClock (talk) 19:04, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

It can be seen as a coset of the integers in the rationals. Charles Matthews (talk) 16:48, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
Okay, so the relationship is: Z is a subset of Q, and Z+1/2={n+1/2: n an element of Z} is a coset of Z in Q? ᛭ LokiClock (talk) 17:57, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Yup. Charles Matthews (talk) 21:44, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Thank you very much. ᛭ LokiClock (talk) 15:36, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

## Proposed merger

There seems no reason for this to be a separate article to Hurwitz quaternion order. Deltahedron (talk) 16:08, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
