Notability[edit]

The notability of this organization is currently unclear, since no secondary sources are cited. By the notability criteria for organizations, independent reliable sources are required to make sure that the subject is notable. These sources might be press coverage about the society, or books / scientific publications in which the society is mentioned. The sources may, but need not, be available online; it is however important that they are explicitly cited.

Judging by Google, the IUAES is probably a notable scientific society; but this needs to be backed by sources, which the article is currently lacking.

I've started to address this. I think I've met the notability criteria, but we do need more secondary sources. I've given it a start. Bruxism (talk) 08:37, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
