Crimes of Loyalty[edit]

Just a heads up that the Ian S. Wood who wrote Crimes of Loyalty: A History of the UDA is not the University of Leeds medievalist so any incoming links to this page related to that book are wrong. There do seem to be a lot of them! I only noticed this because I'm keeping an eye on Ian Wood (businessman), who is behind various controversial schemes in Aberdeen. The medievalist who is the subject of this article seems to work under the name "Ian Wood" without using his middle "N." so perhaps the article would be better moved back to Ian Wood (historian), or perhaps Ian Wood (medieval historian) if we need to be more specific. --Deskford (talk) 20:52, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think the specificity would be a good idea, because the historian named "Ian Wood" I was trying to cover appears to be a specialist in Nazi Germany -- or, at least, it was on a documentary on that subject that I saw him interviewed. I'm pretty sure he was labelled as a "historian", but I suppose it could be the same guy who wrote about the IRA. (He was an older man, probably mid-70s.) It's all rather confusing, and I think I am content to let others who know more about the subjects deal with fixing the article, rather than trying to "help" and screwing it up some more. Wrong middle initial?[edit]
