Usage of the word Bantu[edit]

It just goes to show how important it is to receive local or informed content. The word bantu does not do justice to the Ethnic groups of Africa and seems at times to be used by those who cannot tell the difference or who do not know.. Like I knew nothing about Igala Regards, Greg Gregorydavid 08:55, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Igala Kingdom[edit]

I just started a page on the Igala Kingdom. I don't know much about the subject other than they were important in pre-colonial Nigeria. I'm sure someone around here would be interested in expanding the article. HollaScott Free (talk) 21:57, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

I propose that Attah of Igala be merged into Igala people. I think that the content in the Attah of Igala article can easily be explained in the context of Igala people, and the Igala people article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Attah of Igala will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. No-one else commented, and it seems uncontroversial. Benboy00 (talk) 12:05, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
