how many British Isles?[edit]

Latin developed into a Romance language in the British Isles (Wales, western England and Scotland) and Central Europe (Poland and Slovakia) as it did in France and continental Europe.

"British Isles" was changed to "Great Britain", and reverted. Why? Wales, western England and Scotland are all on one island. —Tamfang (talk) 17:13, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
