"Correctable"[edit]

I would like to remove the word "correctable", as this uncharitably restricts the point of view to which it is being ascribed. Speaking for myself, I view sexual orientation (more precisely, sexual activity which conforms to a presumptive sexual orientation) as a behavior, but I would not necessarily characterize it as "correctable". Obviously, there's a lot to argue about here, which is not my intention. But "correctable" there diminishes a point of view unnecessarily, which may not be the most NPOV representation. Delete this article[edit]

It has no sources. Just a couple of links to other WP article, none of which substantiate what is said here. Several of the protected groups are not immutable. Being a hate crime has little to do with anything being immutable. I say delete the article as worthless. Roger (talk) 03:04, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Toussaint and Roscelese are both known LGBT types. This stupid article should be deleted immediately. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.77.22.9 (talk) 12:27, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Physical[edit]

If immutable characteristics are, as per the definition provided in this article, limited only to physical attributes, then how can there be any debate over whether sexual orientation is covered?
