Stale references[edit]

Some of the references have become stale – either not working at all, or linking to pages that have been updated. I would like to repair them, but need to be sure I'm pointing the links to the right places and adding relevant information. For example: the Independent commission on funding and finance is included as part of the One Wales delivery plan (word document (Chapter 2, commitment no. 2)). However, the document is noted “as at 31 March 2010”. Was it there originally? The article states (uncited) that “the Holtham Commission, was established … as the result of a Welsh Lib Dem motion that attracted cross-party support in the National Assembly for Wales.” Seems strange that the Lib Dems would have influence over the One Wales agreement. This report says the commission was launched (in October 2008) in response to the Calman Commission, so it couldn't have been in the original One Wales agreement in 2007. Can anyone link to some background? Thanks, Daicaregos (talk) 09:23, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The commission was a commitment in the original 'One Wales' agreement in 2007. So as you say, I don't see what the Lib Dems could have had to do with it - although they have advocated reform of the Barnett formula for a long time.--Pondle (talk) 19:34, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
