Convert IRFCA website to wiki format and move to Wikia Servers[edit]

Hi,

Recently I came across recently an interesting wiki thing named Wikia (external link http://www.wikia.com) where anyone can request creation of a Wiki website on almost any topic and Wikia people will create it for you and host on their websevers, all you have to do is to add content, maintain content and attract more users to it, all esp during initial few months till it gains enough momentum.

By Aug 2006 there were already more than 1500 running Wikia wikies, check http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Category:India for Indian city wikies on Wikia.

This servce is provided by Wikimedia group (the one owned by Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia).

Also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_wiki_farms for similar services provided by others.

Have a look its quite interesting and also may be IRFCA can be moved to wiki format to allow easier participation by people.

Added a link to trainalerts.com - hope thats fine

The IRFCA was founded 29 August 1989, so it is 20 years today.--Grijalvo (talk) 12:01, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
