The Infobox and the image all make it look as if the WDM2G is similar to the Alcos. It isn't. It is very unique and uses multiple prime movers, being the only Genset loco in India. Only two units are in service (at VTA shed for shunting duties) and they were built by DLMW, patiala not DLW. @Hdmanohar: please note! PS would you be interested In the IRFCA faq rewrite project?
