List or table?[edit]

Currently, the order of precedence is presented in the form of a table, with the numbers added in manually. Wouldn't it make more sense to do this as an ordered list, where the numbering is done automatically?

For example, the first two lines would look like this:

  1. President
  2. Vice President

instead of this:

Rank Member
1 President
2 Vice President
3 ...

Any thoughts? Alkari 22:41, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, a table is better. I'll clean it up. =Nichalp «Talk»= 05:41, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect example[edit]

This order / warrant of precedence is incorrect. Many persons are placed on certain numbers. For example, there may be ten categories of ranks / posts / authorities in a single article. Lawexpert 16:22, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

At number 23 "Officers of the rank of full general or equivalent rank in the Indian Armed Forces" Should not be here. As it's already at no. 12 in the order. 27.56.184.150 (talk) 08:31, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Both the article and its source say that only Chiefs of staff holding full general or equivalent rank are at number 12, all other full generals or equivalent are at number 23 Danski454 (talk) 08:46, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
