Puff piece[edit]

The Quanta article about the 2020 paper, "Computer Scientists Achieve 'Crown Jewel' of Cryptography", appears to be a puff piece rather than a substantive analysis. Can we get an academic reference from someone else establishing the importance (or lack thereof) of that paper? --198.27.190.101 (talk) 20:56, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Abstract for the paper in question is located here -- https://eprint.iacr.org/2020/764

Simplify Langugae[edit]

Wikipedia is for the public, and the content text of this, is pretty much incomprehensible to most people not into cryptology and the math related to it. The article would benefit from using a much simplified language and expanding (in simple terms) of the things, such as NC0 etc. Jahibadkaret (talk) 13:39, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've expanded the article based (more or less) on the Jain/Lin/Sahai paper. Is it okay now? Also, there are plenty of articles on Wikipedia that are equally technical but which I think are still fairly high-quality. Duckmather (talk) 00:23, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
