Merger with Diksha[edit]

The subject matter of this article and Diksha are very similar - maybe they could be merged? Gouranga(UK) 10:53, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, they appear very similar, so I will merge the referenced text into Diksha. Hopefully this will also get some more editors working on it- this article has been waiting for references for over 5 years! 1292simon (talk) 11:10, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rituals of females[edit]

I have removed this portion from the rituals of females: "However, these practices are less necessary as progress has made the monthly cycle more inconvenient than a health risk.", which was preceded by a portion referring to the concern for amount of blood lost. Women's monthly cycles are exactly as they have been for hundreds of thousands of years, and thus I can't for the life of me think what this is referring to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.142.201.70 (talk) 18:00, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
