Migrating conference and journal info[edit]

This organization is associated with at least one journal - the Journal of the International AIDS Society - and two conferences - the International AIDS Conference and the IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention. I am going to migrate information about these three other projects from this page into their own Wikipedia articles. If anyone has any thoughts on my doing this then please share. On the talk page of those two articles a user suggested that this information be merged back here. I am not sure what I think about this. The International AIDS conference has stubs in German, Swedish, and Chinese and also the pages were in categories for conferences. This page is not quite right for categories, so now the categories are on redirects. It is not really appropriate for me to put other language translations on a redirect so I put them here, despite this being a page for the society and not the conference.
With minimal effort the two conference pages could be expanded but I do not have time to do this just now. I expect the conferences to have more notability than this society because most articles on anything related are about the proceedings of the conference.
