list of winners[edit]

The lists should be limited to 'winner' and the two 'assistant winners' as declared. 4th and 5th place (and 6th) and all contestants are respectable nonetheless. --Shuki (talk) 00:18, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On the official chidon hatanach winners list here, only the top three are listed. Only top three should be listed unless the winners are noteworthy for some particular reason. In addition, a table template could be used for the list of winners to improve the readability of the names that are displayed. What kind of questions?[edit]

The above link doesn't lead to sample questions but rather to a list of material needed to be studied. On the other hand, this book of bible contest questions includes three actual complete sets of previous Q&A. Canadian Chidon[edit]

Missing[edit]

For an encyclopaedic article, one could be forgiven for thinking the contest began in 2007, except for the brief mention of David Ben Gurion founding it. Why no history of the event before this date? Surely the earlier history is relevant. Why no mention of winners in the earlier adult and worldwide competitions? This article focuses on what appears to be exclusively Jewish recent events, and ignores the earlier events open to everyone regardless of religion. For example, the 1961 event was won jointly Mrs Yolanda da Silva of Brazil and another, and the 1964 event was won by Graham Mitchell of Australia. Neither of these were Jewish.
